Trend forecasting: products
To decide which elements my collection should have, first I explored Pull&Bear's online shop. It has an extensive product offering that includes tops, dresses, jackets, coats, sweaters, etc. and they also carry shoes, accessories and beauty products. But the main elements in their collections are joggers, jeans, sweatshirts and t-shirts.
Researching more I decided to incorporate to these items a puffer jacket since I am working on a winter collection, so including a coat sounds reasonable. Here is Pop Fashion's statement on next year's coats:
"The coming winter days and cold weather make the cotton down wear become popular for its practicality, thermal function and weatherproof ability. Silhouette changes are made among A/W 21/22 cotton down wear items. Styles like broad-shoulder vest, inflated short-cut, V-neck lightweight and straight super long silhouettes can allow consumers to have attractive clothing collocations in the winter days."
And this is their statement about sweatshirts:
"As a perennial item in wardrobes, sweatshirts have been indispensable. Voluminous sweatshirts mix with trendy elements and novel designs, dramatic elongated design and decorative patterns to be more fashionable. Classic hooded zip-up sweatshirts show more designs this season. Raglan sleeves and the hooded silhouette pair with prints, accessories and other details to be more fashionable. Classic hooded sweatshirts are also non-negligible. Neat stand-collar pull-on sweatshirts also play a key role in silhouettes, with loose shapes."
