Let's experiment

 Today during our class we have been given 30 minutes to experiment with our sketches; 

Can you do this in a different medium?

Can you alter the style?

Can you change the appearance by exaggerating or minimising?

Can you change the colours?

I decided to experiment with my first look since I was unsure of how it was turning out. Here is the sketch I did a few weeks ago:

and these are the alterations I planned; I decided to minimise and simplify the design by making the image smaller. As well I chose a more subtle and calm colour since this look is for the first part of the painting that represents paradise. I chose jade green because according to Coloro + WGSN it will be a key colour in 2022.

I believe that this design is more adequate and it would be more successful in a real collection. Overall, I think this experiment turned put great.
