The martians have arrived

 For this exercise we have been instructed to show our initial ideas by drawing, without using words, as if we were trying to transmit them to martians that do not understand English. Here is what I have drawn after 15 minutes:

My intention was to explain how the painting was divided into three parts, and, just like the tryptic, my project will be divided in three as well, with heaven, hell and the land inbetweeen. I used the paintings I did in the past to present some of my favourite details of the artwork, which I will probably integrate in my project. As well I drew other signs that reinforce the ideas that the three scenes represent ( a devastating fire in hell, a book in heaven...).
