Preparing for my project sign-off

 

To prepare for my project sign off, apart from reading journals about Bosch and the symbolism behind his work, I decided to research as well about the brand for which my collection be for; Pull & Bear. I created a Milanote board with photos taken from the online Pull & Bear site.

Thanks to this research I found out that this brand has done fashion collections related to art in the past. The latest one is called Because Art is for everyone, and it is a collaboration with the Tate Museum. It features artists like Mondrian, Kandinsky and Malévich. I believe my capsule collection will be strongly inspired by this one, to follow the aesthetic and ways of Pull & Bear. THis leads me to believe that the outfits will consist of printed t'shirts or hoodies, decorated jeans or cargo pants, and patterned socks.

Here is another board I created before researching Pull & Bear. In this one I focused on finding the essence of each part of the painting, linking them to the colours and silhouettes of the Moschino SS19 collection I talked about in previous posts.
