Major project development, drawing the model

After deciding the colours and the fabrics for the designs the next step in the process is to draw the models. For this I opened Krita as well and I used as reference the model template by Pret A Template as well as the image of Irina Shayk (model) walking on a runway so my model would be in a natural but adequate pose as well.

Here are some photos of the process:

Sketching the basic shape with a pencil

Painting the base skin tone using an opaque brush so that the body will not be see through

Adding highlights and shadows with an airbrush and blending to create a more realistic look.

In my next post, I will be creating a mood board about tattoos, and I will also be designing the tattoos my model will have as well as their placement.
