Sequential Images

Creating sequential images is the technique of projecting frames in rapid sucessions to create the impression of movement. It started in the twentieth century, since many artistic movements were centered on motion and time expressions. When speaking of this techniques, two names stand out; Etienne-Jules Marey and Eadward Muybridge. Both of these men pioneered and perfected this technique in their efforts to understand both animal and human anatomy.

Based on Wednesday's Digital Art class and my own research I have created my own set of
sequential images that show the constant flow of cars I can see from my window.

The idea was inspired by the stock images I found while looking up this procedure in google:
Before taking those pictures I was also given 15 minutes to take a first set to practice while I was still in class. This is the result:

  1. These practice images are rather small please make these larger so that the viewer can see these properly. Good that you have your set from class now you need more in-depth research and you need to show you self study images, process of creating these and reflection
